London’s melodic storyteller Tom Speight announces his eagerly anticipated third album ‘Love & Light’, arriving on the 11th of August via Nettwerk Music, whilst sharing the fervent new single ‘Let Go’, out today.
The album is a powerful exploration of love, loss, and hope, delving deep into his own personal experiences and emotions, making it one of his most intimate
works to date. With tracks like the new single, he continues to explore the themes of heartbreak and moving on from past relationships. Through his poignant lyrics and heartfelt melodies, Tom takes listeners on a journey through his deepest emotions, offering a sense of comfort and healing in the process.
Detailing his newest record, Tom reveals, “I’ve touched on things in this record that I’ve never spoken about before; it’s, without doubt, my most personal to date.” And on ‘Let Go’, he mentions, “‘Let Go’ is like the follow-up phone call to my previous single ‘The One’, it follows the thread of getting over someone… it deals with the angst & heartbreak.”
Tom is also an advocate with the UK mental health charity CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) and will be performing live for their forthcoming CALM sessions. Tom states that, “If raising awareness of CALM and mental health helps one person to reach out & talk it’s worth it. There shouldn’t be a stigma talking about it. I’m super proud to be an advocate for CALM.’’
Let Go was released on March 14th on Nettwerk Music.
